Forums - Nintendo - Is Youtube on 3DS failing horribly for anyone else?

I can't even watch a single video anymore before it crashes, making it completely unusable. I tried deleting it and re-downloading it again, but still it fails. Is anyone else having it this bad?

I downloaded it,tried it once and never used it again. But not because it crashed.I just can't stand this image quality anymore when even my phone boasts an hd display.

Ive been trying too.
It crashed atleast 10 times last night then I turned off the wireless slider and turned my console back on.
then i turned the wireless back on and youtube worked after that.

Mine is working fine... but why the heck would I ever want to use youtube on my 3ds?

*Click on video* Buffering... *Watch 10 seconds of the video* Buffering--- *swear mildly and another 5 sec.* Buffering### *Rage quit*

I wonder why would anyone try to use their 3ds for Youtube, i mean the resolution is so horrible. It would be better off just using something else...

Obviously for convenience, and regardless that's no excuse for making a broken piece of software. Welcome to VGChartz though. :L

I don't know. I tried it once and then realized that Youtube works better on every device ever. Then I never used it again. I'll try it again to see if it's broken down, though.

I'm having enough problems recently with Youtube on a PC. In terms of video playback it sometimes just stops loading if I switch to/off fullscreen or change the resolution, and there is nothing to do but a full page refresh. Or when navigating I am coming across a number of problems such as weird sections where it won't let me click on links (as if something invisible is loaded over the top) or from a users channel I usually click on the videos tab, but it sometimes seems to take me to different pages... at first I thought maybe the youtube user can customise what happens but it has happened when viewing the same user.
