this game is hands down the best looking and technical game out.

110% agree! This totally poops on Ryse! 1080p @ 30fps or over! Also this is an open world game with much more graphical effects! Bodes well for PS4 that this is a 1st gen title with a small studio and limited budget. I can't wait for a next gen GTA!

I wonder what Selnor1983 will say when he sees this Pooping on Ryse in the graphics department? ??

Congrats comparing a launch game to a game taht wasn't released on launch day. One would expect to look better with extra development time. I agree its the best Looking game so far but ryse still hands down has the best character models,

Do you know how long Ryse was in development for? What the budget was and how many people worked on it???

Infamous would have been a launch title too but the team is small with only 80 people. So maybe If they had Cryteks resources then they could have released it on launch day too. Don't be too quick to jump to conclusions. This is a first gen title. If this was 900p and linear it would run at 60fps and have better character models by far!

And  do you knw how many years ISS was in development? I know Ryse was meant to be on 360 and then got delayed and moved to xbox one . However  Crytek didn;t spend all that time making teh game. They didn't know how to do it with the old kinect. The dvelopment for it on xbox one ,, i am sure it ws long but not as long as you are thinking.  i would imagine at least 80 if not more lol. Do you know how many people were involved in the making of ryse? What i am saying is  ,, a game released after launch should be better looking then a launch game as launch games are always rushed . The fact the game made it to launch and looked like that is also impressive much like ISS and having that level of graphics for an open world game. Heck if 900p  meant 60fps for ISS, i would happy for them to lower the resolution lol. Lol i don't know,, the game needs to have dynamic shadows,, and when it rainsand you walk over the puddle,, it doesn't ripple. Thats first before better character models !

60 fps is not make or break for an open world game. And its also third person

i would think alot of people would disagree with you on that as MGS GZ proved that 60fps in an open is a must. But it was disappointing to see that puddles of rain didn't ripple when you stepped on it or even give a reflecttion of delsin when passing it

50 minutes long!?

As a big fan of the first two inFAMOUS games, this makes it really tough not to go buy the next PS4 I see. :(

If we hear news about GT7P during E3 it's game over.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Must be why GTAV, Skyrim, RDR and Fallout 3 got such terrible reviews and sales D:

@Skyrim , GTAV RDR and fallout 3 are all on last gen. They barely can achieve a stable 30fps at 720p. let alone 60fps. Fail comparison there. Last gen didn't have enough power to do such a thing for open world games. This new gen should be able to do seen by MGSV GZ

Also you can't compare a linear hack and slash to an open world game. In any case, I: SS manages to looks better than a linear game which is an incredible feat

"...bearing in mind that this is a first-gen PlayStation 4 title"

PS4 1st gen confirmed
lol

Are you serious?  Please tell you're not being serious? MGS GZ is the ONLY open world game on the current gen consoles that runs at 60 fps. Heck, if there was any genre of game that benifits from forgoing some FPS for the extra resolution it's open world games.

Simply pointing out that the open world genre has been thriving without the necessity of 60fps. Had they wanted it they could have had it by lower the visuals. Apparently though they deemed 30fps+ better visuals the choice to go with. Looking at the reviews and sales of those series, the customers agreed too ^^
