Forums - Gaming - Why Assassin´s Creed Unity and not AC V ?

yeah, why ?

Because Ubisoft could be sued for it standing for Vendetta, because that's a lot of what happens in AC!

Because they're not ready to step into Final Fantasy territory yet.

Cause its not a sequel but a spin off? Idk, maybe they went to Rockstar's school of numbering

They are holding it off for something special like they did for Assassin's Creed III

AC III sure was special...

Because Rick James is going to be the main character.

I don't know why some people are so down on AC3, I personally liked it more than AC1 and AC Revelations. Especially Revelations, I couldn't even finish it was so bad, constantly getting distracted from missions to defend Outposts against Templar attacks.

Well to be honest I've hated all AC games except for Black Flags...I especially hated ACIII and I though.

I don't get the backlash against that game. It was a huge step over previous games in the serious. Allowing hunting, seasons, countryside, piracy missions etc. for the first time. I loved the setting too. Some of it could of been executed better but still it was a great game. Black Flag was better still.

None of them compare to the first game and that was still decent in it's own right

Idk it was just a borefest for me. Took forever to get to actually play the main character...Or maybe it felt forever cause I was so bored. Usual tail this guy to a certain location missions or the stay close enough to hear their conversation...Just a very very dull game. Not as diverse as Black Flag, my fav in the series.
