Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

I don't care no matter what the score says. I have loved too many "bad" games and hated too many "good" games to put any weight behind review scores.

GTA IV = 98 and I thought it was garbage.
Mass Effect 2 = 96 and I thought the original blew it away.
Halo 3 = 94. Terrible.
Conan = 69. Great game.
Manhunt = 76. Stealth game that fucking obliterates MGS and Splinter Cell.

I pay more attention to the meat of the review as opposed to the score. Take Titanfall for example. An 86. Great average. But I know the score was severely affected by things that are irrelevant to me, like no customization or real SP campaign. So why should I care about scores?

Like i said, when gamers start take metacritic so seriously, you know gaming industry is dead.

http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/deadly-premonition
This game, only 68, it's a master piece, one of the best game i've ever played.

http://www.metacritic.com/game/ds/phoenix-wright-ace-attorney-trials-and-tribulations
This game is the best on DS for a lot of people and it has "only" 81

Same thing for this one with 83 : http://www.metacritic.com/game/ds/ghost-trick-phantom-detective

Metacritic means nothing, reviews are just opinions with some objective facts, score is useless.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

I might disagree with a lot of things you say, but I gotta agree with you on something:

Manhunt is badass.
