Was project Morpheus , the real reason Sony decided against bundling the camera?

they decided not to bundle the camera because it drives cost up and most people dont want one. 

That's actually really interesting. So there is still a large market for motion controlled gaming.

And the great thing is that the kinect is better than the ps4's camera. Has more games for it, the camera is better, has three times more voice commands. Im glad microsoft didnt abandon it.

Offering choice was the absolute best decision. 

Yup, it probably would have slowed production down too. I think sony is happy they werent limitedin sales from being reliant on more Hw

the camera didnt sell because of motion controlls. it sold because of streaming. the camera isnt being sold as a gaming device but as a social one. other than playroom i cant think of any other "motion game". and playroom is being used A LOT in streaming. 

It requires a multi-day ban?  Are people here that touchy?  I have a PS4 and a camera.  I am not offended even if I think he is underthinking the situation.

I'd say its pretty great. It's a supply constrained accessory selling nearly 1m units after only 4 months. This will probably sell in the region of 8-10m lifetime, perhaps even more.

Ots not the offense that determines the length but how many times before hes been moderated. If it was a first offense he would be back in a day. He just made another boarderline thread last week too that I felt like he was trying to just stir shit up. this thread confirms it
