This prototype will allow for developers to develop games using it. "We believe Morpheus will further enhance the world of PlayStation 4 with seamless integration with PlayStation Camera, DualShock 4, and PS Move."

Yep, you will need a PS4 a PS Camera and a Move?
Better Sony make a agreement for code patterns with Oculus

Those were very early prototype pictures.

Really? Here I thought the important question was: Does it support any games? |
Sony has the "Field of Dreams" aproach with hardware:
"If you build, they will came".
They will expect devs to support it... the same way they supported Move and Vita???

PS Move's technology is being used in Project Morpheus to help with tracking. PlayStation Camera on PS4 is also essential. "It's almost as if it was designed for VR," he said with a wink.

The Occulus Rift is at least U$400, and for what Sony is showing right now their VR is prone to be at the same level.

So more than the Console itself especially if you need to buy 2 peripheral devices to make it work damn.
