There's a possibility. They've been late on lots of stuff.

I hope it can be successful though. It would suck to see them fail again.
Still not sure what they mean by "non wearables". There is some really cool tech coming that interacts with your cell phone and provides a lot of helpful metrics to the user.
Apple is also rumoured to integrate healthbook app to its upcoming ios. I take it that these will require some sort of device to wear on your wrist or something. Again, would be interesting to see what Nintendo has in store. Market it surely heating up already.

Some things I could see Nintendo doing for there Quality of Life products are a Wii Fit standalone device and a childrens learning tablet.
Wii Fit or whatever they decide to call it can become a SmartScale, where u download various health/fitness apps right to it.
A few months ago it was rumored that Nintendo was working on a childrens tablet and that fits in with QoL. There are a bunch of kids learning tablets like Leap Pad and such but Nintendo could coexist with them. It could be a platform for Brain Training to thrive and fun little downloadable games featuring Nintendo characters kinda like Donkey Kong Jr Math or Mario is Missing.

It is not a video game thing i thought, so i do not care, just like i do not care if their lego collection fails. |
