I think its a bad move from Sony as the xbone is pretty much the same price as a PS4 now with a game. I can see the PS4 dropping in sales in Canada.

Ad that will hurt their sales by a tiny tiny margin. Or not, because it's still sold out everywhere.

If only seen some at CAD 64.99 ($58.65) so far, but also still have games from early last gen that were CAD 69.99 |
Infamous: SS is $69.99, as are pre-orders for Destiny and Batman. Both Infamous and Destiny used to be priced at $59.99.
Last gen I refused to buy games at $69.99. I didn't want publishers to set that as a new standard.
If they hadnt done this every Americans would have done the math realised the price of PS4 on Canada was actualy a lot cheaper and crossed the border to buy themselves one, its that simple.
Also have you seen the price of PS4 on brazil, do not complain about prices of eletronics with a Brazilian its not even fair.

Not likely with taxes and custom fees it would have more than likely be more expensive.
Oh if this was reversed. Sony raises prices and MS keeps it the same.....everybody commends Sony. sigh....

As long as they reverse it again when the exchange rate goes the other way again. Even if you live close to the border, you'll spend more than $3.31 in gas and exhange rate fees, but you get hit with much lower taxes too. Anyway I used to live in Europe, nough said.
That's interesting. Why the decline in the CAD?
(i'm going to let this one stay open since it's more currency fixated)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

The Bank of Canada decided to drop the dollar by 10 cents to keep its key interest rate steady, yet try to lower inflation. Thats what I see from articles I look up
