now technically you didn't say that GTA's being the same were a bad thing....so if you weren't saying the similarities were bad and simply saying they were all the same without giving a judgement on whether that is good or bad then I apologize.

GTA IV is more anticipated in NA than anywhere else on the globe, it'll be a smash hit, especially for the 360.
Worldwide though, I think 360 and PS3 sales of GTA IV will be virtually identical.

I got bored with GTA after GTAIII, but I'm sure GTAIV will sell over 10 mil. in the end.

Edit: 10 mil. worldwide, not just in the US.

no its not the 3 most successful franchise
the real statistics are as of march 2007 so maybe slightly off
mario- 193 million
pokemon- 155 million
final fantasy-70 million
Madden- 56 million
GTA- 55 million
