"Do you know why we changed your name to Raiden?"

You want to know a secret, Wright?  When I first played MGS2 I really liked it.  The gameplay was like I imagined MGS1 being if the characters actually moved like people rather than sacks of potatoes.  Plus, the final two bosses were (and still are) ace.

But I replayed it about 6 months ago and that unfortunately caused me to drop it massively down the rankings.  I really cannot forgive the story for being so terrible.  It's Kojima at his self-indulgent worst.

And that's why MGS3 is better.  MGS2 gameplay; MGS1 story.  Excellent.

In fact, I may just start playing it again later on tonight!

I don't agree, but yet again, MGS3 bored me a bit. So there's that.

Out of curiosity, is this gonna be part of the main game? If not, why in hell is everyone calling it a demo? Every demo I've ever played was in a way part of the actual game. Wanna call it short? Sure, go ahead. But demo? WTF? No one is forcing you to buy it but (if it's not included in the main game), it's not a freaking demo.

MGS3 bored you but "swimming with Emma Emmerich" didn't!?

:(.  Oh Wright.  I thought you were supposed to be one of the good ones!

Swimming with Emma Emmerich was cool. The Sniping section was the horrible one, and that was bad indeed.

But I'd rather have one small bad section that having to press Start every five minutes to change the costume because my camo index keeps dropping to low levels.

All reviews should take price into consideration. I know they get their copies for free, but the people reading their reviews won't be.

That would bring another subjective parameter into the mix. One that many people might not even relate to.

You would be putting a monetary worth on something abstract. Things like this never work out well. Even if you would connect it to game length it would still be not quantifiable.

I think it's good the way they are doing it now. Or you could always go to Kotaku and let them tell you black or white if you should buy a game or not.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Really?  I'd say the sniping section was one of the better ones.  That + Vamp/Ray/Solidus were among my favourite parts.  The Big Shell as a whole, however, was my least favourite part.  It was a really horrible, boring location.

I wanna fig leaf.
