It is a 1080p image, they're just constructing it from 3 different images in the framebuffer(I think it's in the frame buffer, if Joe would like to correct me here) to fill in the missing image.  Those 3 images are rendering different parts and are combined with prediction of what's going to be next  to create the final image.  There's not one pixel being stretched to the next which is the opposite of what's happening on the One, unless stated otherwise (Which I haven't read any dev say otherwise for 90% of One games).

Yeah, not native 1080p and they didn't bother using that technique in the campaign for a reason. Don't waste your time trying to convince me.

True that.

Anyone pretending KZ:SF MP is doing something equal to native 1080p is ignoring the facts.

Facts are indeed being ignored.

No, your question is spin.  You're purposefully limiting the scope of the question to fulfill your ends.

Explain to me, how my question is spin?

No, your question is spin.  You're purposefully limiting the scope of the question to fulfill your ends. See how that works?

The technique used in KZ:SF MP does not look as good as native 1080p and that's the simple reason why it wasn't used in the campaign.

Perhaps you feel I'm bashing the technique? In reality, I just don't consider it native 1080p and apparently neither does Guerrilla Games.

I doubt it.

They've been one of the best studios at keeping their games at 720p on the PS3, while other studios were pushing sub-720p resolutions.

I am expecting more of the same from them this gen.

But still, you are calling it.

It is unlikely, but if they decide to push character and environment detail as far as they can, I may see it happening.

There is no point in increasing detail when you cannot see it. In 720p most of the detail is lost.

EXACTLY!  I am tired of people saying 720p + Ultra > 1080p + High.  In 720p Ultra looks no different than Medium.

When do you guys think PS4 will see its first 720p game?

As far as I know, it doesnt have one, but I dont think it can carry on like that the entire gen.

I'm guessing it will be rockstars new game, or the next Crysis game.

We are talking about PS4, not 360 or Xbone.

The more developers will understanf better PS4, the more they will produce amazing games at 1080p / 30fps.
