But after reading a few comments, I kind of thought that it is more like a ouya with a huge financial backer. Amazon is already providing lots of content to it's prime members who will now have to pay $100 US per year for that luxury. If they added a "game system" that played the cellphone games up on the large screen tv at a nominal price, it would be very enticing. Sell you the controller for $30-40 dollars and maybe a dongle or small device(apple tv) for another $30-50. Heck, they could just make it run through the Kindles and through the TVs and people would be satisfied. My kids already spend hours playing games on ipads and kindles. Not so hard to make a rental type service like a netflix for video games.

Cellphone games? They are aiming larger:

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)
it looks crap and is another victim of bent displaced analogue sticks.
It looks incredibly.... bland. Well, if it gets the job done, then whatever. In that case, it looks horribly uncomfortable.
I think it's fake. The work to mock this up is much less than the prospective ad revenue from the hits.
It looks like the kind of knock off system that would be for sale at a discount pharmacy and called the 'Play360' 'ViiU4' or 'ZonBox One'. I wonder if this is a false lead as Amazon usually does better than that.
Like the kind you see parents buy for their kids cause you know they don't have much money and want to make them happy. But it ends up just being really sad.
