So I have only been here a relatively short time and I have noticed a few trends.
Firstly, the PlayStation Nation and Xbox One Nation threads are often full of people talking about the opposite console and the fans of those consoles, go figure.
Next, there is a lot of bickering in individual threads regarding the big three, although it seems that is mainly focused around Microsoft and Sony.
Finally, there are A LOT of review comparisons. A game that scores an 80 on metacritic is not vastly inferior to a game that scores a 90, as at the end of the day that score comes from the individual opinions of reviewers. I played Knack and thoroughly enjoyed it, and that is the only "measure" or "score" that I need. I do want to add though that predicting the Metacritic score is very good fun.
So those are the trends, and this is how I want to stop them. This thread is to be dedicated to games on any and every platform, be it mobile (yes, I said mobile!), Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, PC, Mac, or even Ouya. In this thread we will discuss games that are on the horizon, games we are hoping will be announced, games we used to love, games we still love, just anything and everything related to the hobby we love! By posting in this thread you agree to put all bias aside, and if you fail to do so you will be reported.
So, who's up for a good old discussion about gaming?

You do not know what the word "bias" means. If we put all bias aside we CAN'T talk about games we love etc. because what we love is based on our biases. You fail at understanding the English language. Shame on you :P
That said, a good old discussion about gaming... definitely a good idea.
I want to rave about a few thing, and there's a few great things I want to gush about so to keep this in the positive, here we go:
1. The PS Vita is awesome. I love this thing, it's a beautiful screen, it has comfortable controls, it's an indie game powerhouse, it has fantastic PS2 remakes and all the PSOne classics on PSN, and it's few exclusive games are genuinely brilliant. I love my Vita it's quickly becoming my favourite gaming system and all I want to do is gush over it. The Vita is making me love portable gaming more and more.
2. I'm loving DmC: Devil May Cry right now and I find it's art style and depiction of "limbo" to be really evocative so much so that it's inspiring me to write for my Shadowrun tabletop RPG. I've adapted the magic system to accomodate the style of DmC and it's added so much flavour. Add in a subtext and political message that I really identify with and DmC is a game I'm really growing attached to.
3. Super Mario 3D World is fantastic. It's the game that makes me feel like a kid again and it deserves to be a best seller. It's a perfect contrast to DmC and it makes my mood improve instantly as soon as I switch it on. The thing I like the most shockingly is the graphics. The game is beautiful and vibrant without being over the top. It genuinely feels happy to play because of this.
