MS just needs Japanese developers onboard. The Japanese market is not that important to Xbox.

Even Sony launched there last.

I wonder if Xbone will even release there in 2014? Wii U is starting to gain some traction in Japan but it has a long way to go....

Mario Kart, X, and a Wii U port of MH4 would go a long way to helping that.

Of course its worth it assuming that its sold at a profit. Lets say Xbox One only sells 1 million lifetime in Japan and is sold at roughly a $20 profit, no need to throw away $20 million just because ur in last place.

Well, Japanese gamers don't like having a selection of mostly just shooters. It works fine for Western territories, but Asia puts more emphasis on story and depth, which is why I never really played my 360 (I have a PS3 and 360, but my PS3 saw much more use because the type of games I like to play are on that).
