I'm never buying any newer generation consoles EVER. I've switched to retro gaming permanently and the Wii U was my final console that I have ever bought. I'll still be buying retro consoles though; I got a Sega Genesis for my birthday last Sunday. There's other retro gaming consoles and possibly handhelds that I want to buy.

Nintendo content is superb and well beyond the quality and games-craftsmanship of anyone else. I will always continue to buy their hardware so I can play their software.

3rd parties are largely about fucking the consumer and robbing us blind with a continued downward spiral of the valuation of our products. i.e. they keep offering you less and less while increasing the price, individuall and overall.

This DLC image above is a perfect example of what happens when you're only focus is on short-term gains. Nintendo doesn't do this and likely never will. Its anti-consumer and focuses on giving the consumer a lower end product while increasing the price. Additionally, it ruins the IP.

I also refuse to pay for online access. There is no reason for it. PC has lived for decades on free online play for its games AND the games tend to cost less. It is merely another way greedy corps are fucking us.

While the rest of you all have your lubed up asses, I'm sticking with Nintendo and its policy of hugs and high-fives.

So to 3rd parties (that don't put quality on Nintendo hardware) and MSony, I say rot in hell.

Nintendo just give you the same game time and time again..............that is better because?!

Most games are shit now for screwing you over in some form. This is why you wait and get the game + all DLC on steam for $1 or bargin bin 6 months after launch.

Not only is this true but it's question begging because there are obvious new games which you will ignore. Then we have ask about gameplay.

If you produce a ip for years that are first person shooter and than you make a new ip that is a first person shooter that play extremely similar to other shooters is that really new? Does gameplay make something new or just name alone? This up to the person.

 

OP, currently I'm going Pc and wiiu. Same reasons why I am not buying ps4 or xbone1. Plus,never enjoyed Sony first party. Mircosoft ips I don't enjoy anymore.

 

So many new, mega hit games you and everyone else never mentions them. Wow, they must be something special!

A new storyline is nice, along with setting and characters. Having the same shallow as hell junk year on year is a poor show. Yes, the last gen was very poor for new games, but it did better than Nintendo over the last 15 years. Both gameplay and setting etc make it new. This is why I hate the CoD series as it is the same game reboxed half a dozen times, however Nintendo do take the crown for modelling an entire company on that basis.

Actually I owned a ps3 and xbox360. The fact is i played lots of games besides indies. I came to the realization that the creativity and new gameplay ideas that aren't first person shooters that have high quality is nintendo. You can disagree but my obvervation I seen nothing that was quality and creative on the twins. To me video game storys are horrible because i love to  watch classic  movies so I have standard. There was reason i knew the plot of last of us in 20 minutes in. If care about stories good for you but still me the garbage is great and missing some great untold stories. If critics could actually grade video stories it would be low 50's. I like my stories simple like oot not sme borng cutscene mess where I have to stop playing ever 20 minutes (last of us).

 

 

Tell me one sony game that made the jump in story teling design and gameplay like Majora Mask? Or even Skyward Sword. Uncharted follows the same design and story in every sequal. So, give your myth story to someone buying because i'm not interested.
