But is it fun though?
I don't get it. The beta ran pretty good with my outdated GTX 560 Ti 2GB from 2011... My graphics card has around the same amount of GFLOPS, but a console version should be much better optimized...

I have been further ridiculed for agreeing with devs that MS February SDK roll out makes it a non issue. With the tiling technique allowing 1080p pretty easily in terms of ESRAM size issues. Developers reporting that before it Xbox One was a developers nightmare in terms of ESRAM 1080p issues. And now its alot easier with the new SDK. I said back at the beginning of February I doubted Respawn had enough time to take advantage of this even though I hoped so. All this article does is back all my previous 3 months up, and everyone that continues to say developers were lying or it was PR speak are suddnely gonna now listen to me? Titanfall has been in development for over 2 years. It hasnt been designed with Februarys SDK. This all further backs the developers claims of the last 4 months. And the article clearly suggests from Respawn that they will be releasing a patch after some time to increase the resolution. |
The article says they will drop AA to better resolution... the SDK won't make the size of eSRAM bigger or help to reach 1080p lol
Not even referring necessarily to the resolution, but does anyone else feel like this graphics generation gap has been a huge letdown so far. I remember jumping from ps2 to Gears of War and Uncharted in hd and was so immersed in the new realism. I look at Titanfall compered to last gen and yawn....Wheres the big leap!
I still have high hopes to be blown away by the big boys like The Witcher 3, Crysis 4, and the next Uncharted though. Hell will freeze over before Crytek and Naughty Dog produce a weak looking game..
Please friend me boys I'm new here and love games and like to talk nerd muah :)

I'm not sure what you're waffling on about, but i did bold a specific part of your comment :P I figured that was a rather obvious indication to where my comment was aimed.

No article mentioned abouyt framerate dropping to single digits. In the Df article it says "Baker did reveal that we can expect to see some performance increases in the shipping game, based on optimisations carried out after the beta concluded. " so it won't be as bad as beta .. sure it drop from tiem to time,, but its still a smooth epxerience which i can atest to after playing the beta. Its much more fluid , smooth adn responsive compared to KZsf
One of the dumbest things I have seen, release a game in 792 p instead of 720P with performance issues?
KF Sf Multiplayer . This is based on my experience as i have played both. Apology for double post. My work pc ,, doesn't allow me to re edit the post,, let alone do quote replies.

I played the beta but not in Xbone... so no framerate issue at all but the reviews says it have framerate issues on Xbone. |
Then you have effectively now clue about the quality of the gameplay on Xbox One... Thanks for confirming.
Also, all reviews are talking about lower framerate at some point (esp. inside Titans) and I will not argue with that. There are not talking about "issues" as it is expected (and even confirmed by Respawn). That being said, the gameplay and framerate on Xbox One was not close to be an issue for I'm pretty sure 99% of the players :)

No it doesnt. It says they tried to do that before release. The code was written with the old SDK. NOT the new one. Hence why they were having to try the same tricks as all the launch titles like BF4 and COD. Even Forza 5.
We already have confirmation the new SDK makes the size a non issue.
Respawn will have to rewrite the code to take advantage of the new SDK ESRAM Tiling Techniques. Clearly they are referring to the existing code they had.
But Im sure youll twist this into somehow in 4 weeks Respawn couldnt magically rewrite the code before it went gold.
