A large amount of titan fall adaptors will be untracked digital downloads so yeah......it won't outsell it very quickly but over time as more bones are sold, it will eventually sell more disc.

Someone else mentioned it and I called it out too. I think it will be incredibly interesting to see if the higher install base of the PlayStation 4 can counter the more mass-market appeal of a first-person-shooter.

That FIFA bundle with Xbox One was pure digital. VGChartz is seemingly now tracking download codes given away with consoles

Well, that's nice to know.

I just remember the Alan Wake scandal where Vgchartz tracked it when it was bundled with 360, but since removed them.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Agreed, I imagine Titanfall on Xbox One will have the smallest install base out of the three platform's it is being released on.

 

Um, really? This game is totally being seen as a next gen game. Right here on this site according to VGChartz the Xbox One has 378,000 preorders while the 360 version has only 79,000. How can you explain that discrepancy if they're going to "sell more for 360?" Especially considering the Xbox One/Titanfall bundle. I think this is a huge misconception that because of the 360 install base, there will me more copies of Titanfall sold on it.

Hey all, new to the board (old account though, didn't know I had one :S)

I'm surprised at how close this poll is. I'm primarily a Xbox One user (One and done!) but even I have to admit I don't see Titanfall outselling Killzone. To Killzone's credit, it is part of a long running IP, where the user's have been engaged in SP and MP across multiple platforms. As a graphical benchmark for PS4, it is already a top seller just for PS4 owners to get a 'Look what my system can do' feeling in comparison to past-gens.

Titanfall is a new IP, on a system lagging in the sales currently, without the pull of a SP campaign to entice users that don't care for MP. I loved the beta, played the crap out of it, but thinking that it will outsell a longrunning IP seems a little farfetched.

Killzone has 4 pretty big advantages over Titanfall.

1. Launch game in a pretty meh exclusive launch lineup
2. Months on the market already
3. Higher userbase to sell to
4. No PS3 or PC version of Killzone 6 to pick off sales

Whether Titanfall outsells is or not depends on what your criteria for time period is.
