Titanfall will outsell Killzone. Shooter fans who jumped to current gen console will see Titanfall as the bigger game. KZ is no slouch though. KZ will sell more in association with installed base which is similar to how the Xbox 360's sales were.

Titanfall will absolutely outsell KZ:Shadowfall. First of all, KZ was a launch game. It was really about the only thing unique and cool to PS4 when it launched. Now that PS4 has launched, the excitement has come and gone for KZ. It's essentially peaked.
Titanfall, on the other hand, is hyped beyond nothing the video game industry has ever seen. And to top it off, it's living up to and even exceeding the hype for most after playing the Beta.

After March and heck during March the PS4 will continue to steam roll to the X1 which means KZ will continue selling, Titanfall will flatline until an actual X1 price cut boosts sales. In fact, I'll go as far as to say that WW, inFamous will outsell the X1 version of Titanfall People need to temper their expectations and look to past "system sellers" like MGS4 and Halo to see what Titanfall might do (I honestly don't get where some get their absurd expectations for TF) |
I agree that some people's expectations are absurb, although I think it will be a close thing between Titanfall and inFAMOUS. The PlayStation 4's higher install base will certainly help, but Titanfall has more "mass appeal". That is actually a really interesting topic!

Yea, it's hyped as heck but you also don't need an X1 to play it. That is the issue people seem to ignore. I'll personally be playing on PC

Titanfall is a multiplat game though. It might sell a few Xbox One's, but the majority of its players will be on 360.
Time will tell, but I think Titanfall has alot of hype and momentum that might push it just past KZ.

Agreed, I imagine Titanfall on Xbox One will have the smallest install base out of the three platform's it is being released on.
