But would you rather just plug and unplug an USB device or open shit up? I did swap HDDs in my PS3 a few times for different purposes but lets face it, it's a fucking console, users shouldn't have to deal with that kind of bullshit.

Agreed. I stuck a 2TB HDD in my PS4 the day after i was given it, so i'm pretty much set for the generation. Having the choice to put an SSD in is also very nice.


I thought it didn't accept anything over 1.5 TB

Can't say I've had any problems with it thus far. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Spinpoint M9T early. I believe it's the first 2TB that works with the PS4, and hasn't released quite yet, so you are technically correct about the 1.5TB.
