For reference, the PS4 was 5.3 million units prior to the Japanese launch.

That's awesome, in just 4 months they've manage to get 6m.

Says 370K units in Japan as at 2 March, so that means 2nd week in Japan is only ~50K. If that's not due to supply constraints that is one massive mother of a drop.

So 5.847M+~50K = ~5.9M. That means outside Japan PS4 sold only ~100K, again if that's not due to supply constraints that's a very big drop too.

6M in under 4 months is great, but the numbers in the last week to break that mark are not terribly impressive.

Definitely supply constrained for 2nd week. Will probably see similar numbers for the next few weeks in Japan too
