Digital foundry said there is virtually no difference, becasue there is virtually no difference.
Resolution wars are the dumbest wars ever.

You're in most resolution threads, including this one, arguing that there's virtually no difference. I posted a comment that you interpreted as "pro difference" (it's not), and you felt the need to fight back. Keep partaking in the dumbest wars ever I guess.

You actually misunderstood my post completely... totally.
I didnt interpret your post as anything other than as genuinely not knowing the result.
So... I helped by providing the summary outcome from digital foundry. No no... dont apologise, its fine. (last time I give you a code!)
Try not to jump to conclusions based on your own position.
And just becuase I think the discussion on resolution are dumb, pointless and often extremely childish doesnt mean I cant take part if only to point that out.

I don't see how "Digital foundry said there is virtually no difference, because there is virtually no difference" is intended as just providing a summary. The second clause is strange if that was your intention. However I'll take your word for it.
My comment also wasn't about me not knowing the result, but I guess I can see why you thought that. I meant word for word what I said. Youtube compression makes "spot the differences" tests like this pointless. I had already read the DF face off and agreed with their conclusion.
The problem with the "resolution wars" is that the XBOX side of the argument is exactly what you want to point out.
Sony guys: "The difference between 1080p and 900p is huge! It's a really really important part of the gaming experience!"
XBOX guys: "The difference really isn't that big. Plus I play games not resolutions. Who cares? These discussions are stupid."
Even though your not a hypocrite or childish like most others in the "battle," you're still stuck right in with the others on that side of the argument.
