Forums - Gaming - What is your favourite game controller?

Strangely enough, I learned to really like the Wii Remote Plus/Nunchuk combination. Sure the lack of a second analog stick didn't work well for FPS or really ANY game with a free-roaming camera, but I just found it comfortable to not always have to have my hands together while gaming. I played games like Brawl and Galaxy with the nunchuk resting behind my head and the Wiimote resting on my side while laying down on the couch...quite comfy.

For "traditional" controllers, even though I never owned one, I quite liked the 360 controller when I played Street Fighter with my bro. That's probably why I'm growing fond of the Wii U Pro Controller as they have a lot of similarities.

I've used every Sony controller over the years, and while they're adequate, I've just never been a huge fan of any of them.

Gamecube. No controller has ever felt so perfect to me. It's like you're not even holding anything, it's all so natural.

Second favorite might actually be the gamepad. The sticks are the best I've ever felt, and the overall design is just really comfortable. The touch screen is obviously just awesome too.

I like the Dualshock 4, however today I went to play Outlast after not having played games on any console for few weeks.

I placed my thumbs on the right analog and the D-Pad...



Yeah, I love the 360 controller.

Hmm, tough one, controllers have become pretty awesome as of late. My vote would have to be the wii u gamepad though. Comfortable and has the most functionality.

I think DS4 killed it - Very ergonomic and has additional features like touchpad and lightbar + speakers unlike xbox one. They're both good though.

Gamecube controller, no contest.

The most comfortable controller ever. Nothing has come close.

360 controller would be 2nd, WiiU gamepad probably 3rd.

Never been a fan of the Dualshock.
