Personally, 720p vs 1080p (no not because I'm an Xbox fan) simply because it's a very boring subject when neither one is radically different to the other.


I get what you are saying, but if 720p isn't upscaled there is a 2x pixel difference. That is no different than from Wii(SD, 480i) to PS3(sub-HD,480p-720p). There are certainly things that affect the outcome like AA and scaling, but it is relevant. 



Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

How far are we going to take this?

- Dull comparisons / Mocking threads / Unnecessary basically duplicate topics
I think these are directly correlated.

- PS4 has passed WiiU? Meaningful, necessary sales discussions.
- PS4 has become king in parallel to that other thread? Mocking thread, and basically a dup.

- Knack vs. Mario: First time? That is odd. Good for the PS4.
- Knack vs. Mario yesterday again? Legitimate sales discussion? Yeah, right. That is crystal clear trolling.

- Xbox One is below PS4 in the charts? We need to discuss it. Meaningful.
- Xbox One is below the PS4 in a random retailer a day later? Is that not covered on the topic above?

Nintendo console would sell/ or have more third party if it was more powerful.

Ignores almost every developer making excuses not to develop on the system besides power. The excuses are vaild but the argument from power from fans or ignorant gamers is ignorant.

Honestly I think the most recent one to annoy me a lot was the: Sony being market leader and greedy - Canadian Price.

Genre elitism might be the dumbest thing I've ever come across. It never fails to amaze me when people try to explain "fun" as an absolute, especially when it comes to the effects of pressing a button or what perspective a game uses.
