Anybody know if the season pass would work on both ps3 and xbox 360?

I bought the season pass on xbox and now i want to re purchase black ops 2 but on ps3. I am wondering if i can still be able to download the maps on ps3? I already got the season pass. 

It seems like when you buy the season pass you buy it directly from the in game menu and not xbox live itself. That is the reason why i am asking. 

You can't. You'll have to buy the Season Pass again. The Season Pass is also bought from XBL on 360.

It really has nothing to do with Activision, just normal policy.

They are the publishers so they decide what content to sell and the prices. If i bought the season pass already then why not have access to it on both xbox and ps3? 

BTW..when i access black ops 2's menu it says i already purchased the season pass. That is probably the in-game online store and not xbox live. Seems like i purchased the SP from the in game menu but had to download the maps from xbox live. I will search other sites for a more precise answer. 

But Microsoft (Xbox), Sony (Playstation) and Valve (Steam) don't support cross-platform familiy purchases, only on a very, very rare occasion. And the menu where it says you already got the Season Pass is infact the Xbox Live Marketplace.

^^ Activision should have it's own online store for this. Kinda like U Play from ubisoft.
Screw it i'll just play the regular maps then.

But isn't all paid DLC for games like Assassin's Creed still done through the PSN Store, XBL store, Steam and Origin?
