Forums - Sony - Cool! within the last 5 hours PS4 gained Flash support... or at least you can watch youtube now.

Not perfect but it does work.Kinda glitchy.

people keep saying they cant watch youtube on ps4, but i haven't had a problem with it.

I can watch youtube on my toilet even, what do you guys are talking about?

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

PS4 does not support flash/DLNA. So unless you guys are using a work around(which do exist) it shouldnt be possible to watch youtube or anything flash related.

You can watch YouTube on PS4 with this link:

http://www.youtube.com/tv

Just type that into the internet browser and you're good to go.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

This is one of the work arounds. It does the basic job but is nowhere near asorganized as using the browser youtube. Terribly slow and tedious to type with ps4 controller. Cannot change resolution. Does not organise videos well by search or viewing order. So yea.. It works but efficiently

html5?

I have used youtube all the time when playing AC4. I don't recall having any poblems. Maybe I was just lucky and only got HTML5 videos.

Why no one ever says this is beyond me. Maybe, just MAYBE, the big three deny us flash in their browsers because they don't want us playing flash games?!?

To use flash you need to buy licenses. Unnecessary money lost on an internet that is finally moving on to HTML5.
