I think we can all agree that there are only 2 options.
Either one version is using less impressive visuals to keep the status quo (guess which one!)
Or one console is heavily under utilitized (guess which one!)

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Just waiting for visual fidelity analysis or confirmation that PS4 version is gimped

Good...so...PS4 runs with higher frame rate, but it's capped at 60fps...or PS4 is maxed out at 60fps, and XOne version has lower gfx settings...or combination of both...

Why is everyone getting excited?
every xb1 game can 'run at' 1080p

Its either not native 1080p, or it is but the PR rep isnt doing justice to developers if they actually managed to get it to run at native 1080p by not boasting about it.

note, thats based on the quote “the Xbox One version of Wolfenstein will run at 1080p/60 fps.”, the link to the source doesnt work, so im not sure if the PR rep mentioned native resolutions or not, I assume not otherwise OP would have quoted it.

Fixed the link. Sorry about that.

Will be very interesting to see how they managed this and how the performance is on both consoles.

Xbone much powerful.
I wonder if the system from Rage, dropping resolution on the fly to maintain locked 60fps will be in place.

Yes, probably.

They did it with Tomb Raider DE by dropping down to 900p in some shanty town levels (yes also during gameplay, don't believe every words of Digital Foundry articles).

Only 7 pages.....I'm disappointed Vgchartz smh

But this is good news for MS. Hopefully they didn't cut down on the visuals to reach 1080p.

Based on rumors Watch Dogs is 900p on X1, I'm not buying into the whole SDK thing, but who knows maybe that will get games like Watch Dogs to 1080p.

Ho Ho Ho, lets see what the fanboys have to say about this

Nothing. One game having the same framerate and res doesn't mean they're the same power. Every other game (aside from sports games) that has commented on graphics is known to look better on the ps4.  We still don't know if the PS4 version looks better. It easily could, as there is a lot more than just res and framrate that contribute to video quality. Also, I'm doubting this game is hard to run. So the ps4 version just has less of a struggle running it. Two runners complete a mile in 8 minutes. One is still breathing through his nose and has barely started sweating. The other's shirts is soked and he passes out after crossing the finish line. Are is the first runner as strong as the other? No.
