Forums - Gaming - "PSN is down" "Can't connect to servers" It's next gen guys. Are failures like that still acceptable?

Gee. It has nothing to do with  PvZ: GW being a game published by EA, a company that did some wonderful things with SimCity and Battlefield 4 ( specially SimCity) in 2013..

What's got PSN being down to do with PvZ? PvZ is an Xbox One/Xbox 360 game!

Its not next gen, just expected from psn.

See the rhyme there?

Failure are not acceptable now you have to pay for it on PS4. If Xbox Live went down unscheduled last gen, it was unacceptable, if PSN went down it was okay.

On PS4 if there are connection issue affecting your online multiplayer gaming then, yes that shouldn't happen because you pay for it.

Hmm, pie.

PVZ:GW seems to be the first next gen game to have this issue. Servers were reportedly taken offline while PopCap resolves the issue.

We dealt with these issues a lot last gen on all systems, but now that we're moving to an always online future shouldn't these things be taken care of already? Is it acceptable if Destiny is also broken at launch?

What has PSN got to do with this? PVZ is down has nothing to do with PSN.  You need to change your title

Yes, this thread is about all systems and online networks
