This is Gamestop trying to pull pre-orders from Amazon. After MS ships it to retailers they can set it at whatever price they want. This situation is just retailer competition.

Huh, wonder why retailers aren't undercutting each other on PS4? Oh that's right they don't have suplus stock they need to move. Yeah, retailer competition is the ONLY reason Xb one is being discounted.

Apparently this UK Gamestop did have a 330 pound UK undercut on PS4. Gamestop needs to compete overseas and spread.
|
Ahhh, there's me thinking Gamestop was big everywhere they have stores. Still 330 PS4 is no where near close to the sort of discounting just for market share that a 370 Xb one represents. Retailer competition lead GS to sell at 30GBP below others, but the only reason they're at 370GBP is because all other retailers have the TF bundle discounted to 399GBP.

Exactly, because they need to compete. Gamestop dominates in the US which is why they resort to hiking up prices with their own little bundles. Trust me when I say that you'll see a $700 US Titanfall Gamestop bundled with an extra year of Xbox Live, Free game, a Titanfall Controller and a Strategy Guide/Art book.
