The only president to decrease the size of government in America was George Washington by ousting the British.

As this point my ideal candidate would be a raging fire.

Veto spending bills until they stop wasting money.
Actually work together with congress instead of throwing fits and pointing fingers.
Talk to the american people about what needs to be done and have them put the pressure on congress if
step 2 doesn't work and even if it does because the people are who you serve.
Strive to cut government control and regulations that stifle advancement and people from being able to run their own lives and business.
Don't put people in cabinet places who are big business or lobbyist but people who are there to help the country and know what there doing.
There is lots more they can do but i'll just end here.

Though it'd help if Obamacare would be changed to give subsidies to people who technically qualify for medicaid. Becuase qualifying for Medicaid doesn't actually mean you get medicaid... so currently there is a much bigger group then people who have preexisting conditions and couldn't afford insurance who are now too poor to qualify for subsidies, and yet not able to get medicaid.

There's nothing they could do. Nothing! U.S. is dooooooooooooooooooooomed!

Seriously, while presidents do have some power over various government agencies, the greatest power to enact real change is going to be congress.

For some reason, americans think the president can just wave a magic wand and do anything in government they want. Presidents arent that powerful. A lot of what a president wants to do in their terms are actually goals that only the congress can do. Presidents are saddled with the blame for congresses failures because of that.

1. Reduce the debt - its about time.
2. Lower taxes, less obamacare, helps for foreigners etc. it never works. ppl just take money and one day later wanna more. Force newcomers to speak American English
3. Bring industry back from China, yes it is possible.
4. Stop waste money on stupid ecology, and spent this moeny on smart ecology
5. I really dont know what ur goverment wanna to achieve in the Middle East, whatever it is - do it fast.
6. Stop Russia/China/Arab/India as fast as possible they are hell on the way
7. Go back to the values that create ur country power, dont try to invent whell again

Nothing, the congress has to do it. Learn your civics. They could enforce some anti-trust laws.

Congress, spends the money, rights the bills, taxes and has all the power, if you don't believe me you need to read article one of the constitution.

The House initiates impeachment cases, while the Senate decides impeachment cases ( So senate has final word on the impeachment or the Removal of a Politician/person). A two-thirds vote of the Senate is required before an impeached person can be forcibly removed from office.

When ever anyone says the president put us in debt. It's totally bush shit, congress did it. period.

They are the only branch of government allowed to Tax, pay our debts, provide protection, and help out the poor. So when the debt limit is not being raised, the congress is actually not paying what they said they would already pay for. There for I think it is unconstitutional but that is another discussion.
