By November it should be $200 naked, $250 with either Smash, Mario Kart, or 3D World. 3D World makes the most sense to me, meaning parents would then be picking up Mario Kart in addition to it.
There's no real point in dropping the price any sooner than that; they don't need the 'come and buy me' price until the holiday season and parents start shopping around for Christmas.
Dropping the price earlier than that won't turn the console around enough to justify the loss in revenue and doesn't give Nintendo any room to manoeuvre come holiday season.
It also depends, of course, on what affect Mario Kart and a (hopefully) fuller summer lineup has on sales. If Mario Kart ups the baseline by 10s of 000s on a week by week basis and no real droughts until next January then a price cut won't be necessary.
Not that I'm expecting that by any stretch.
Key thing is that any drastic action Nintendo makes before E3 could well be premature and do more harm than good.
