I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this happens!! I do wonder why are saying the ps4 won't as much in Japan as opposed to the rest of the world, Sony is mainly based in Japan aren't they? I thought playstation is fairly competitive there and with the launch of ps4, they should dominate the home console market, at least for a while at its worst while Nintendo dominates the handheld market

Bandai Namco, just like Sony at first are having some low expectations!! At the rate the PS4 is selling it'll be close to 7 million by the end of march :O

If he was referring to end February instead of March it would make more sense...

I'm expecting 1m in Japan shipped in Japan and 7m sold WW by 31 March.

Also, 300-500k in Japan in more than a month would be absolutely abysmal.

Yea, I know that, I am saying that some people in this site and other sites are expecting it to sell lower than 250k in Japan during March which I think its gonna sell more

I mean I don't doubt that demand could put it up to that number.  But once again, it is going to depend on supply, if it is as supply constrained as we think it is.

Well companies always have low expectations, but with the huge sales that ps4 has right now, that number sounds stupid.

It's something good if ps4 beat their expectation it would mean more support.



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m
