I wouldn't want an XB1 without the Kinect. I know I would like it better at $399!!!

Still, the WiiU gamepad could go away just the same...

Wii U is already $299, so what was the point of removing the Gamepad? I can see the benefit of shaving $100 off the price of the One, but losing the gamepad with no savings seems stupid.

ummmm? If there was no tablet controller wouldn't the price drop alot?

Some people seem to be missing the point of dropping the peripheral to slash the console price.

Just realised these conversations take me back to the begining of last gen, when the rumours started of sony removing BC and USB ports to slash the price, every sony fan denying it, and we know how that turned out.

Wii U since the games are far different (for the most part) from ps4. xbox one too similar to ps4 for me.

I think the Wii U owners are enjoying the Gamepad and its advantages and so they can live with a Xbox without Kincect. People who just want to play the unique games and exclusives on the Wii U want a Wii U with the lowest price possible --> no Gamepad.

Most of the Xbox One owners don't say that Kinect is the absolute feature of the console. And many people just want to play Titanfall and Halo and so they want a Xbox One with the lowest price --> no Kinect. 

That's why I think that more people would prefer a Xbox One without Kinect.

Until the wii-u gets X, the new zelda, and bayo 2 i'd say the x1.

I'd take the Wii U. I'm not that interested in the Xbox exclusive titles. The multiplattform titles I can play on some other console which I shall not mention here. The Wii U however has Nintendo games. That's nice. But only for 149 € or less.
