They just showed concept art of creatures in the game from the book. Also from the looks of it the devs haven't even showed us the half of the goodness pertaining to this game. From what this is showing us it seems we're staring into the future with this game. This is only speculation from looking at the pics but there could be a monster vs titan theme going on here.

Also, the Titan melee combat isn't really a focus in the same way the Jaegers fight in Pacific Rim

I was pointing out that pacific rim wasnt very successful in the US compaired tp how much money it cost them to make it, it did make decent money worldwide.

It obviously isn't Pacific Rim but we're getting clues that there will be beasts and leviathans in the game. The whole point was the robots vs monsters concept that the Japanese used to always use.

From the looks of it they haven't showed us even half of the information about the game. There will be many surprises.

Well theres always hope not everything was in the beta files but yeah hopefully as dlc
