Especially if you got any of the specialty weapons, then it was cake.  It's pretty much over once the Shredder appears, never mind that anti-material rifle.  The skills were also a bit silly, as they opened up in bunches.  I had so many points saved that when the second island came, I had everything I wanted.

The only real challenge was taking bases by stealth when heavy gunners were around and before you had the skill to kill them silently.  Of course, if you just waited, some tigers would show up and take the base for you.

Unlike a game such as Fallout 3, where there are enemies you never can take lightly, Far Cry 3 turns you into a killing machine by the half-way point.  Well, except for fire.  Fire > bullets and explosives.  I'd rather face ten armed enemies than accidently brush against a camp fire.

I am probably a freak that should be put down but the only Farcry game i really enjoyed was Farcry 3: Blooddragon, which can be argued was not a farcry game at all.

With the picture of the character being from Far Cry 3. Sounds that it they're going to update the game into 1080p with better framerate on consoles.

Let's be realistic. I will be happy if we have triple buffering 1080p30fps.

Please no more screen tearing!! No screen tearing at 1080p with the same image quality (those ultra sharp textures!!) of Far Cry 3 will be more than sufficient IMO.

It's an ambitious open world game (impressively so), it will always have some framerate drops in some places.

i hope they arent rushing farcry4 though, i would rather wait an extra year than get it early and the end result is the game is rushed. i dont know how they are doing a open world game in just 2 years. dont get me wrong, i would jump up and down like a school girl if they announce farcry4 for this year. 

What i found amusing was, benchmarks for Metro last light for the overclocked 780TI were averaging around 63-64, i set a single 780TI to the same clock speeds as the 5 month old article, and was averaging 86fps on a single card, driver updates make a huuuuuge difference in performance on the same hardware for PC.

While my CPU is better than the one used in the original benchmark article, CPUs (recent ones anyway) have very little impact on the framerates in the end, with the difference between $100 cpus and $1000 cpus being less than 5fps overall.
