I'm growing to quite like this guy.

I gotta seriously give spencer some credit there ...

I wish the community would've grown up 7 years ago, but I find it hilarious that people are calling for peace now that Microsoft isn't in the dominant position. By the way, that's not necessarily intended as a shot at you. I don't know you and I've not paid attention to your behavior over the past 7 years, but you have to admit, this kind of BS back and forth was highly popular when the PS3 suffered launch issues, and everyone and their mother took shots at Sony for it, and Microsoft most certainly encouraged it. You have to admit, it's highly ironic to have those same people calling for peace, now that Microsoft isn't in the drivers seat. |
Well I am 7 years older than then (though I've only been a member since 2008) and also 7 years more sick of tired of this childish behavior no matter what side it's coming from. Maybe I'm just too old for these communities. I saw a thread on neogaf where someone was asking how many remember the old Centipede commercial for the 2600 and most responses were people saying they weren't even born yet. Yeah ...

Also we would prefer if you could change the game into a first person perspective, that way it will feel more immersive to aim and shoot at the numerous enemies we will require you to add to the game. What do you say? Do we have a deal?" |
Which do you think made more money? Journey or State of Decay?
I enjoy artsy games on occasion, but there is little incentive for MS to throw money at them.
Anyhow, if you only have one console you tend to miss out on good games. That's why I intend to get both down the road.

THIS SO MUCH, Xbox only has FPS games |
Years and years bringing indie games to the 360 is somehow forgotten because Sony recently began doing it.
Funny how that works.

He's a pretty genuine guy, answers plenty of our questions from the XBO thread. Can't wait for some of the games he's excited to show at E3.
As much of a stupid decision it was, just bc of PR like this, he handled it well I think. He is growing on me some I have to admit. I do like him better than Major Nelson.

So, how could a significantly poorer company fund it? There must be something else other than financing.

you mean bringing for a short period as exclusive? Most of those indie games ended up on steam at some point. The point is, other than indie, Microsoft has not cared much about creating games of various genres or encouraged developing, Heavey Rain is one example as someone explained. I am glad that I own a PS3 to play such a nice game.
