These detail textures never existed in the game... it was artifacts generated by the filter.

From what I understand, if you keep your Xbox One in standby mode instead of completely powering it down, the update happens automatically overnight. |
This February not... you need to accept it manually to start the download/install... after this update MS have a option to automatic download in setthings so the March update will be automatically if you choose to.
(save images to disc to compare @1080p)
I can see the halos due to sharpening are reduced/gone, and instead replaced with more blur. Can't really tell a difference in the gamma. It really doesn't look like a great improvement.

1080p is better than a lower... This has Never been questioned... But the fact is that better graphics don't come through better resolution... If anything bad ones pop out more with better rez... What it does is sharpen the pictures so yeah better graphics look better... But that is without taking into account than with a screen under 40" at 10 feet in movement without proper calibration the diff becomes less and less noticeable... Only graphic whores (us) with the proper set up can truly argue it.. For a vast majority it's just pissing contest...
but yeah this corrections are nice... But I'd take better graphics at 900p on my living room setting over 1080p with average ones any day.. Especially with the proper upscaller...

That bottom image looks worse to me, some details are blurrier.
