Gonna take some time. Probably not this year so maybe holidays 2015?

You must be joking, PS4 will be at 40 percent in a matter of weeks, possibly before march. Its already almost at 60 percent for 2014:

After Nintendo announces the acquisition of the playstation brand and promotes Reggie to President of the Playstation division of games, then they will have 50% market share?

Probably second quarter of next year.

You realize that playstation and microsoft have virtually no epic games coming out until probably holiday 2014 right? There sales will start to decrease substantially soon (just like the Wii U's did in 2013 due to lack of new software). They may not decrease as much as wii u, but they will decrease. Meanwhile, the Wii U will probably take off with the launch of DK, Mariokart, Bayo 2, and Smash and hopefully x (if it's coming this year). It's not like playstation will continue selling that much more than wii u.

I bet you probably thought sales of PS4 would decrease the minute the holidays were over? Well its not, demand is still crazy and the console still has supply issues and that aint gonna change for a long time. Its getting inFamous next month, FF14 the month later, Watch Dogs will be the biggest on PS4, Driveclub is coming. The PS4 doesnt need these games to sell, its selling its own.

It's probably going to be a bit higher than 60% after further adjustments.

Not joking. Still expecting X1 and Wiiu to keep up just enough that PS4 won't reach it. Currently the PS4 would need 4 additional millions in sales. And even if the PS4 would outsell X1 + Wii U by 150k every single week it would still not manage to reach 50% by the end of the year.

I'm waiting for E3 before I'll make any solid predictions though.

What are your LTD predictions for the end of the year?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

well,...

...if we assume wiiU and xbone stop selling entirely ps4 would need to reach 4M more sales to grab 50%. if we assume that ps4 sells 200k units a week than it will take 20 weeks to do so. 20 weeks from now is the week ending in june 28th. obviously those assumptions are pretty wild though.

maybe this holiday. 2015 more likely.
