Would like to see a definitive edition. Its possible Capcom will continue the story of Nemo and Kyrie, which I personally have no interest in.

Not particularly interested in DMC4 continuing, since it was so far from the original game it was really not Devil May Cry. If Capcom outsource DMC to Platinum Games, I hope to see a continuation of the original character and the original story established in DMC1, and I want the game to have nothing to do with DMC4.

Well you know the problem isn't that. The problem is the fans who never played the original Devil May Cry game, who thought DMC4 was representative of the series. Which it wasn't.

DMC4 was actually designed to be an imitation of Hollywood movies, which Capcom admitted at the time. Hence  why the story was overly camp, and not very good. Capcom were imitating something they didn't understand.

In terms of the reboot, it was the best game since the original game. DMC1 really was a masterpeice for its time, in no small part because it came from the survivial horror elements that formed the Resident Evil games. Capcom never really captured the melanchoic feel of the original game and the original character. Ninja Theory's reboot was truely a great game, but it was still in the shadow of the previous games, Ninja Theory didn't fully embrace the term reboot. Thats why the game wasn't perfect, but it was a lot better than the games Capcom made themselves, like DMC4 which was very far away from the original game.

Same here. Loved DmC. Did you played Vergil's Downfall DLC? It really sets up a great history for a sequel.

Because the old DMC universe, story and Dante design was shit and should only appeal to young teens who are typically shit with taste.  The combat was the only thing to ever praise in those games.

Well, for a man that platinumed the whole trilogy (I mean, DMC2, really?), you sure do have a strong opinion over the original saga.

I would have never played DMC if it wasn't for PS + but im so happy I did because I loved it, I hope there will be a sequel to DMC. It would be a day one buy for me.

Utter bollocks.  No offense but you need grow up a bit if you cannot distinguish criticism from hate.  It is possible to criticise something and like it, it comes from being fairly objective.
