That's the whole point of these assumptions though, so people can feel better about being right or wrong over time. There's bets going on right at this moment in other threads about sales. Just like how a year ago, if you said in a thread that Sony would be selling 2-1 over next Xbox in the US, you would have been laughed at, thread bumped and have crow served to you.  Now if you are the crazy enough to predict X1 will come back and trounce Sony and it happens, then again Crow.  Thus is the point of our fanbases on the internet.

And if that's not enough for you, you can film yourself  going in retail stores every day, showing the ample stock of Xbox and then the empty stock of PS4 while laughing in a manly voice and stroking your chin all the while calling yourself the PS quad army and looking like an idiot. (Elpresador)

Or You can call Walmart every day disguising your voice to be a different customer every day asking when a product is coming in to  help raise demand.   (Sorry Spureonryan, I had too!  Don't report me haha )

The poster obviously feels like if one of the HD twins fails it will fare better for Nintendo. Nintendos problems have absolutely nothing to do with the HD twins.

That would make sense, but they are still both much more powerful than the Wii U. Theres a clear separation in the graphics of the exclusives when we see X, Mario and then we see the PS4 and Xbone exclusives.

No, this is not a black and white situation. If one fails (no pun) the other does not automatically achieve.

Sure! Without X1 competition Wii U should do like in its first 11 months, maybe even some k/week better!

While I do agree with you on the graphical stance I feel like X would be one to consider to break that mold. We have yet to see a AAA JRPG game from either PS4 or X1 (FFXV excluded for obvious reasons that they usually set the graphics bar for jrpgs anyways.)  But if you did compare to FFXV there was a thread a few months back comparing screen shots of both and X held it's own.  We can't really tell from a compressed youtube video from Nintendo direct, but X does look great and if the scope/scale of the world is anything like it's predecessor then that would make a Wii U purchase very tempting.

I'm going to laugh my ass off when Sony goes bankrupt in the next 2 years and MSFT wins by default. Sony lost tons of money on PS3 and is loosing more on PS4. The more they sell the more they loose. And with their phone, PC and TV business tanking they are toast.

And how do you think Microsoft can revert the current situation? They need to be cheaper than the PS4, and that assumes taking a loss.
