2013 because YOY was recently revealed to be LOWER than last year. So looks like it's possible it will sell less 2014 than it did 2013.

There is no way it will peak in 2015. It will decline rapidly after 2014.

so do you think with Mario Kart (bundle) and Smash, it will sell less than 3,5mil this year? ok

I don't think Nintendo games are selling as hot cakes anymore. It's either 2013 or 2014 as its peak year. I can guarantee you 2015 will be a year of rapid decline.

January 2013 was a 5 week month vs jan 2014 was  a 4 week month. 57k in 5weeks = around 11k per week while 49k in 4 weeks = around 12.5k per week. So it's actually up yoy (although, not by a lot).

Predictions for LT console sales:

PS4: 120M

XB1: 70M

WiiU: 14M

3DS: 60M

Vita: 13M

I believe that wiiU will have a 5 year life cycle. So it's peak year should be in 2014.

Me neither. I'm betting a reveal will happen in 2015 with a new console launching in 2016 at the latest.

5 year life cycle, I'm counting 2012 as a year. So it's successor should be out by 2016. You believe that Nintendo will release their next console next year?

This year.

2015 is going to be uuuuuuuugly ... I predict longer droughts than this year and Zelda is not even one of Nintendo's top five selling franchises. Expect pretty much no third party support outside of things like LEGO ____ and Just Dance.

I also think internally Nintendo is ki-boshing new games for the Wii U to work on their next-gen handheld instead. Wii U is a lost cause, they're not going to invest massive resources ... you'll get Mario Kart, Smash, Zelda, and some of the other games already in development and you can even like that or pout about it.

No you can't. We don't know what Nintendo will do in 2015.

Either way you said the peak was 2013. If Wii U won't sell more than 2013 this year, with Mario Kark 8 and Smash, Nintendo should drop it.
