That fact that this is such a big deal for some people underlines the very issue she was covering in her speech, unfortunately that issue will be mostly ignored because people are more interested in the concept of a gay actress as a news item than covering the work of those she came out, to support.

Thats not really a surprise if Im honest.

Not even in Beyond when I played it.  Whenever I play a game that gives me a choice, my female character is either a lesbian (Fable, Mass Effect, Dragon's Dogma, etc) or totally single. 

I can't help but feel that my Beyond playthrough had a small role in her coming out as gay. :)
