It's a bit horrifying actually - the Wii U and Vita are comatose, Xbox One is hardly doing any better and the 3DS peaked already (and down over 50% from DS sales). Everything is down except the PS4 which will be... flat compared to the PS3 probably. The market is almost imploding.
Well what you want to discuss reasons for it how to fix it ? should they cozy up to sony and go 3rd party what ?

3DS is more than down 50%, in its 4th Q1 DS shipped 5.8m to retailers. 3DS in its 4th is going to ship around 1m units.
It seems that everyweek a console perform bad in Npd se will have to explain that they are credible and that vgc is fallible (but usually by less than 10%) and that npd is closer to reality than vgc. And of course see a lot of people attacking who disagree with vgc numbers.

The console industry is doomed. Sony gots no money and ps vita is flopping. Nintendo has a fading 3DS and the abysmal Wii U. Microsoft's 360 is dead and xbox one is underperforming. I am converting to PC gaming - all hail the master race
i can write many numbers too, but it doesn´t mean they are true.

Yeah, I don't have the exact numbers in my head. Wasn't it like 13m (3DS 2013) vs 30m (DS 2007)? I just didn't want to exaggerate to avoid drama 
Thank you Uncle Scrooge for making sense of everything its not WiiU its every console or handheld. Like I predicted PS4 is only doing well because of the mass advertising and that's not even helping. I hate all the shit talk on Nintendo like its failing its called a free market there are hills and valleys.
I'm impressed it's coming close to last year's sales. Only the most optimistic Nintendo fan would believe there are any games in development for it outside the scraps of what was started years ago.
And yes 3DS is dying a lot quicker than anyone imagined. Nintendo seemed to have killed the software support there too. All chips in on the QOL by the looks of things.

PS4 is supply constrained. This is a sales site, if you don't like talking about this stuff why are you here?
