Im not very familiar with those characters other then Little Mac, but it seems a lot of people want them added in so who knows. I think Waluigi is a long shot sense hes not very popular at all but I think Shadow has a good chance sense Sonic returned he needs a partner idk maybe its just my crazy wishful thinking. Ughhhhh cant wait for this game though!

I grew up with the NES and liked both Punchout and Super Punchout, so Little Mac being in the game is much cooler in my opinion than the Wii Fit Trainer or the Animal Crossing villager being in the game.

Although this is old, Mega Man is an awesome addition and with the announcement of Mega Man, I really hoped that Nintendo would get some other big name third party NES characters. Not a lot. But with Mega Man, I was hoping for both Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden and Simon Belmont(with CV2 Simon clothing or Trevor as costume changes) from Castlevania. My three favorite NES characters

lol, i just literally mentioned (right before your post) tht 3 assist trophies from SSBB could/most likely make it into SSB4 as playable characters! they are Little Mac/Isaac/Saki! (also they are all in my top 10 most realistic choices for the next installment :)

1. If Sonic had a 2nd rep in the game it would be Tails (or Knuckles), not Shadow! *This is coming from a guy who's favorite character is Shadow of all characters in Sonic franchise!

2. Sonic isnt prt of nintendo, We are lucky to have even him as we barely have any third parties at all!

It would be awesome to have shadow of course, but with character roster limited to 40-45 (maybe up to 50 but thats a stretch) i doubt we get him when we have over 30 nintendo characters that should b in!

Haha yeah I noticed, I thought that making those characters assist trophies instead of playable was a huge mistake in Brawl. I also think not having Jill from Drill Dozer, and Ray from Custom Robo not playable was a mistake too (also Lyn should have been playable, not Ike, and i say that as a huge Path of Radiance fan). However, i think Jill, Ray, and Lyn have small chances while Saki and Isaac have good chances, due to Sin and Punishment: Star Successor and Golden Sun: Dark Dawn being released in the Wii era around the same time frame as Punch Out Wii.

BUT.... Saki and Isaac did not star in the newest games of their franchises... their sons did. This makes me think that we could see Isa and Matthew playable instead. What do you think?

If you think about it the Golden Sun and Sin & Punishment franchises are very similar in regards to their chances of getting in smash bros.

Saki+Isaac cuz they are original of their franchises and much much more popular. Also since if either/both were to be playable they have to represent the entire franchise like little mac does for punch out. 

I think the only character that is a posterboy yet not the original character of the same franchise is Ness.

Anyway them 2 and i'll be happy as many others, especially Saki for me (even though Isaac>>>Saki in terms of actually getting into SSB cuz of the franchises GS>S+P in popularity)

Really? out of the 5 newcomers, he was the most likely to join imo. In my top 10 realistic newcomers for SSB little mac was definitely almost at the top :)

I didn't know much about Little Mac before hand.  I just assumed that there were plenty of other characters who would be put in before him.
