rayman legends is the first next gen plataformer.

I read the whole article but I can't find any explanation of how the author thinks the game reboots the FPS genre or why it's the most important game in years.

The thing the author raved about, mostly, were how the game makes you feel like a badass with easy-to-kill AI enemies and extremely powerful weapons. Sounds very easy to kill or be killed. I'm not criticizing that but I'm not sure if it's revolutionary, either. The big thing appears to be removing as many frustrations as possible, which can be a positive depending on what you like, but isn't that kind of the CoD direction, anyway?

The Pilot/Mecha duality is very interesting but I think that's more of a unique design than something that will change the gameplay of a genre.

So Wii U is really next-next-gen

Titanfall is just an average or bad game. There is no reason to justify the hype at all.

It's sure a fun game and all but I don't see any revolutionary about it. It's sti a shooter. The most overused genre in the last 20 years.

I do not understand why they do not set the resolution to real 1080p and maximize texture quality but compromise on models, effects, particles and shadows instead to get stable 60 FPS. The result would look much better than the upscaled blurriness of most games.

Titanfall is so great it transcends generations. jk looks like alot of fun already pre-ordered X1version.

for it to be the real next gen shooter...it needs both- good graphics and good gameplay
