Who knows?
As long it's gonna be equal or bigger when compared to the 6th generation, i don't care. Who needs casuals?
We need the gaming companies making hardware/software that caters to hardcore gamers like us.

If Xbox One can't get the casuals over to Kinect, then we will see a decrease but if Kinect inspires something that we have not seen yet, then maybe both HD twins will sell over 110 million a piece. Leaving Wii U to make up 35 million units or less if HD twins can put some good number between the 2. Also depends how long this gen is. |
No it wouldn't. People who just want Directv won't want to pay extra for a game console. Directv deals wouldn't grow the console market by anything substantial, all it would do is transfer some of the "might buy PS4" market to "probably buy Xb one". So it would close the gap, but overall console sales will still be closer to Gen 6 than Gen 7.

Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. People are missing the point of this thread, recently. It's not about one specific console (PS4.), it's about the generation as a whole. In my OP I post my highest predictions for each just to prove how an increase isn't plausible. Again, thank you. |
Indeed, and you are being too generous with PS4 and Xb one in your OP IMO.
