No it wouldn't. People who just want Directv won't want to pay extra for a game console. Directv deals wouldn't grow the console market by anything substantial, all it would do is transfer some of the  "might buy PS4" market to "probably buy Xb one". So it would close the gap, but overall console sales will still be closer to Gen 6 than Gen 7.
