I doubt it. Maybe a price cut, but an SKU? We'd have heard mumblings about that sooner surely.

I'm not getting my hopes too high but Nintendo usually has atleast a couple tricks up it's sleeve. Last time we got Hyrule Warriors, NES Remix, Dr. Luigi, and the Bravely Default demo, along with some new videos. Here's what I think will happen (probably will be wrong, but that's cool).

-One big Wii U game reveal....my money would be on Pokken Tournament but you never know. If you told me there would be a Zelda/Dynasty Warriors game last time I would have laughed my ass off.
-One big 3DS game reveal...my guess would be Metroid. The 3DS 2014 schedule is pretty light if you ask me.
-Limited Edition Donkey Kong console. Maybe a SM3DW but there is already a Mario bundle so that would be pretty pointless.
-Bayonetta 2 will fill the gap between Donkey Kong and Mario Kart.
-Watch Dogs Wii U footage.
-Some indie reveals.
-Release date for Mario Kart (even though it's already semi-official).
-Release date for Kirby 3DS.

Considering our Walmart insider confirmed that current skus are not being reordered AND we know Nintendo has to make some major adjustments... this may be plausible.

Though I think it may just result in a bundle variation/colors and maybe more internal storage or something along those lines.

That's what I am thinking too.   Nintendo really can't afford to price drop it anymore, and a model without the gamepad would be dumb.  It's the one thing that differentiates it from the Xbox One and PS4, and most people that use it think it's great.    Donkey Kong bundle would be my guess.
