Best launch score for any console ever in Japan... crazy god scores... except Knack everything over 30 (that means over 8/10 avg.)

Yeah... but it is Famitsu... their credibility is the credibility of dirt...

It's a decent selection, but pretty much nothing is a must-have thanks to cross-generation presense or lack of appeal to the JP market.

I think it is only here in the western that Famitsu seems to lack credibitity.

Their focus in Japan tastes and for that they really do a great job... these scores are maily focused to Japaneses... so that's why they differ a lot from the westerns reviews.

No it means over an 7.5/10 average

30/40 = 7.5/10

At extremely high scores for extremely flawed games consistently, their scores are not really molded to anyone I think. FF XIII for example. Nobody will argue that it's extremely flawed, even if it's a fan of the game, and yet, it got like 38/40 or 39/40 in Famitsu.

They are said to rate for hype, or at least that's something I remember hearing time and time again.

Knack is getting what it deserves! It should be lower though!

Apart from that the rest of the catalogue got a lot of good scores. The PS4 japanese launch will be good!

They are even more corrupt than the western games media.

In related magazine news, the next issue of Famitsu will release two days before PlayStation 4′s February 22 in Japan. It will contain a 35-page PlayStation 4 buyer’s guide and 44-page PlayStation 4 software catalog.

That's a lot of page per games.

OT, I'm disappointed in this resogun score. But it seems Famitsu is really excited by the PS4 launch.
