I wonder if you will adjust this?

Why would he adjust it? NPD gets some information from retailers and the rest are pure estimation and speculation, they may or may not adjust their estimation and they don't track every retailer in USA. They track about 60 to 65% of retailers in US...

So any product track by them is potentially undertracked and not covering 35-40% rest of the market is a pretty big gap while VG Chartz's at least tries to track every retailer and uses informations from NPD and other market research groups thus VG Chartz in fact has more complete picture than NPD since they will use multiple sources/estimations.

Anyway... You are just jumping the gun. We need to wait and see if NPD will make some adjustments to their estimation.

NPD is around 90% and it's very accurate. NPD don't adjust either ... we always eventually adjust to NPD. Facts are facts and that is what will be used, not VGC numbers.

Do you have evidence/proof and/or source that NPD is tracking 90 or even 100% of the market... I only could find that they track 60 to 65% of US market and that they estimate the rest and if they were very accurate then they would not have to adjust their numbers/estimations at a later time.

Reliable individuals on Neogaf who actually subscribe to the data, it doesn't costs tens of thousands a year for nothing. They never adjust, and the big 3 use their numbers.

So no actual evidence/proof and some source that may or may not be actually reliable and could be FOS.

Also aren't these sales data under NDA?

If you really want evidence/proof go look for it yourself, it's pretty much an agreed thing at this point, believe it or don't believe it.

Do we really need this "NPD adjustment stuff" for a VGC based sales data thread?

Seece, do you mind cutting down on the anti-Nintendo a bit? Every post in a sales or Nintendo thread that I see your name in is negative toward Nintendo in some fashion. Do you mind if we actually carry on a conversation about Nintendo or sales without the derailing negativity?

*Looks at thread title* .... what the heck do you want to discuss in this thread if not WiiU USA sales YOY?

I've not actually made many posts these past few weeks, but they're always on topic. You're not a forum mod so you should be telling people what to post just because you don't like it.

Not to mention, it's you that paints it as anti nintendo, I'm just talking about WiiU sales.

You don't need to be a mod to point out user behavior.

And just a scroll through the past 5 pages of your post history shows that any sales or Nintendo thread you post in takes a negative angle.

You can point it out (whatever IT is) all you like, not doing anything wrong.

It's not my fault WiiU sales are what they are?? I usually just present the facts.
