Forums - Gaming - Telltale Needs To Stop Pretending Their Games Aren't Broken

I for one 100% agree that patience is wearing thin for Tell Tale. Love their games, but hate the bugs as well as their release schedule. They're basically funding one episode at a time with season pass buyers and the wait time between episodes has become pathetic.

The really disgusting thing is the way they treated the people who bought The Wolf Among Us season pass for full price at launch (like yours truly!) by putting discounts on it before they even released episode 2, which took them almost four months to do.

Ugh. I did the same, and you can bet that I was ultra pissed. Lesson learned: if I am ever to buy something from Telltale again, let it be the complete edition or on sale.

I have to agree.
I enjoy their games a lot and always buy them day 1.
But damn, they are also glitchy and laggy as fuck.

I've had no issues with Season 2 so far. Not sure what they're talking about......

Try season 1 or better yet, try Back to the Future and you'll understand.

I haven't seen any bugs when I played SBCG4AP or any Sam and Max games years ago. I don't know why bugs are showing in their more recent releases.

I regret making this my username, I made this name when I was 13 years old

I know Season 1 had some issues even I ran into, but they said they would fix more bugs for Season 2 and so far have done that.

If they acknowledge the problem and have been improving, I see no reason to criticize them at this point.

I do not know if they update way after the fact, but I never plan on buying any of their games until all episode are released. The time it takes them to release one episode is so atrociously long it seems not worth the bugs of the game. Playing a hard copy on 360 way after the fact though, I never had any game breaking problems.

They still should try to fix the engine. It would make something that is great, yet hugely flawed so much better.

Well, I'm "happy" to hear people have these complain as well. I thought I was just having bad luck with an incredible underoptimized game on the 360. I'm trying to enjoy The Wolf Among Us, and just because the game and the setting is awesome I've managed to carry on. But it's disgusting that my game freezes on the Press Start screen or that I fail some commandos because the fps drops to zero.

The "Previously on" video was at 6 fps or something. I was like wtf.

I agree, WD SE1 played HORRIBLY at some points; there were moment were I was stuck at a frame while the game continued(casued to me to die)

how it won game of the year was just on hype alone(thanks in part buy the TV series and comic)

Yeah, the disc version of episode 2 was basically unplayable. It stuttered half the time and was just awful. There is no acceptable reason for them to release a game in that awful a condition. I didn't think the game was that good really, won't be buying any more for a while. I do like Game of Thrones enough that I'll give their game a look

It might have not been for you, but it was playable for me. That was the cannibal family episode it was one of my favorite episodes.

I didnt see any problem on WD, telltale are the best.

( maybe it's the disc wich is broken, not the digital version, or your local version ?)
